In 2026, we mark 10 years of using communication as a driver for social impact and transformation. To celebrate this tenth anniversary, we are looking toward the future of new generations by promoting their digital well-being.

José Antonio’s legacy guides us to anticipate the future and to understand the transformative power of technology and communication, combined with an intergenerational approach that champions youth as a driver of change and progress.

Over these past 10 years, we have developed 75 projects, impacting 8,117 beneficiaries in collaboration with 281 partners. These actions were driven by the commitment and participation of 3,068 volunteers, who have dedicated 15,850 hours since the Foundation’s inception in 2016.

Since then, we knew that our greatest contribution would be telling stories and bringing visibility to social realities. 10 years later, we continue to use communication as the most powerful tool to create an impact on society.

Technological humanism and the leading role of youth

In honor of José Antonio’s vision, we decided to place the perspective of technological humanism at the core of our value proposition—giving young people a leading role, rather than a passive one, and investing in their talent and potential. The José Antonio Llorente Foundation connects young people across Europe, the United States, and Latin America who seek to create a positive social impact, particularly in the use of technology, to build a more humane world.

In this way, we foster a positive and responsible use of technology among youth through communication, creativity, and influence, putting the talent of LLYC professionals at the service of new generations so they can navigate their relationship with Artificial Intelligence and social media with critical thinking, ethics, and emotional health.

Four major commitments for the digital future

To articulate this vision for the coming decade, we are focusing our efforts on four major strategic areas:

Critical Thinking

We connect young people to address the ethical and misinformation challenges of the digital environment. We combine this talent with our expertise in strategic communication so they can lead the way in building a more democratic, informed, and free society; transforming technology into a tool for human understanding and decision-making.

Mental Health in Connected Environments

We connect young people to create spaces for reflection and lead the shift toward a healthy digital culture. In the face of hyperconnectivity and overexposure, we connect young talent with experts and LLYC volunteers to promote a mindful and humane use of technology, ensuring the digital environment serves as a driver for emotional well-being and never a barrier to personal development.

Online Inclusion

We connect young people to raise awareness about safety and respect online. We transform virtual environments into spaces for understanding where diversity is our greatest strength. We work to ensure that technology is, above all, an inclusive bridge that protects the dignity of every individual.

Digital Literacy

We connect young people to close the opportunity gap. We drive a shared learning network, providing the technological skills necessary to lead the workforce of the future. Our goal is to transform education into a tool for social mobility that allows every young person to carve out their own path in a more humane digital economy.
