Last year, the activities of the José Antonio Llorente Foundation—a project driven by LLYC and its employees—benefited 1,286 young people. The foundation collaborated with 42 social organizations across 12 countries where the firm operates. Focused on promoting the social well-being of new generations, these initiatives involved up to 300 company professionals who dedicated working hours to carry out these activities. This is detailed in the 2025 Annual Report, which has just been published in digital format.

In 2025, the José Antonio Llorente Foundation consolidated four essential commitments to address the main challenges facing youth in the digital age:

  • Critical thinking: Connecting young people to tackle disinformation and ethical challenges, turning technology into a tool for human understanding and democratic rigor.

  • Mental health in connected environments: Promoting conscious technology use that safeguards emotional well-being, balancing digital overexposure with personal development.

  • Online inclusion: Transforming virtual environments into pluralistic, safe, and discrimination-free spaces where technology acts as an inclusive bridge protecting individual dignity.

  • Digital literacy: Driving key technological competencies to close the opportunity gap, turning education into an engine for employability and social mobility.

Prominent among the initiatives launched by the José Antonio Llorente Foundation are the “Transformative Conversations” (Conversaciones Transformadoras) meetings. These gatherings brought together other foundations, institutions, and companies (including UNICEF, Plan International, Cyber-Guardians, ANAR Foundation, and Fernando Pombo Foundation) to jointly address issues such as cyberbullying, Artificial Intelligence, and mental health, putting young people at the center of the dialogue.

In 2025, the global project Voces Futuras (Future Voices) celebrated its sixth edition, connecting volunteers with vulnerable youth. The initiative equipped 1,030 young people (+2.7% compared to 2024) from 13 social entities with communication tools, soft skills, and digital competencies, supported by 126 volunteers and 720 training hours.

Additionally, the partnership with the IE Foundation was consolidated through the awarding of the first IE–José Antonio Llorente Foundation Scholarships. Two full-tuition (100%) scholarships were granted to academically outstanding youth from Colombia and Argentina to pursue master’s degrees at IE University and subsequently complete professional internships at LLYC.

Furthermore, the foundation spearheaded the eighth edition of Storytelling For Social Impact. In this program, 84 students from IE University’s Master in Creative Direction, Content and Branding—trained by LLYC professionals—designed transmedia awareness campaigns for 16 social organizations (a 33% increase over 2024), raising visibility for their work and impact.

Finally, two of José Antonio Llorente’s passions were brought together: art and soccer. The Foundation’s year-end initiatives incorporated AI, allowing 254 young people from 7 social entities to share leisure and creative spaces alongside company volunteers.

“All our initiatives share a single goal: keeping our focus fixed on promoting the digital well-being of new generations. In the AI era, protecting technological humanism becomes a vital mission to ensure the future is built on honest, intelligent, effective, and deeply human communication.”

Irene Rodríguez, President of the José Antonio Llorente Foundation.

“Addressing the digital age challenges facing youth requires a collective, cross-sector response. Through initiatives like ‘Transformative Conversations’, in 2025 we have proven that collaboration among companies, institutions, and the social sector is the only way to weave effective protection networks and safe virtual environments for new generations.”

Albert Medrán, Director of the José Antonio Llorente Foundation.
