A new phase is beginning for Voces Futuras in the United States. For the first time, volunteers from Lambert by LLYC are joining the project from their office in Detroit.

In this sixth edition, the project is being rolled out in 12 countries to equip young people in vulnerable situations with communication tools and digital skills that will enable them to face the challenges of their environment with greater confidence.

The training sessions will take place in the American city, but will also involve volunteers from the Grand Rapids operation, thus bringing together professionals from two different regions in the United States.

Detroit’s participation expands the scope and global reach of the initiative, reaching more young people with diverse needs. Every beginning brings new challenges, and the new volunteers are already working on leading the training sessions so that they can address the challenges facing young people in American society.

The project will provide tools and sufficient resources so that young people are not left behind and can become the voices of change for the future of the United States.

Volunteers will lead sessions aimed at strengthening participants’ self-confidence and self-awareness, developing communication skills to apply in real professional contexts, and how to approach job searches and selection processes.

Young people will also learn about digital concepts, reviewing elements such as the use and application of AI, a practical guide for beginners in data analysis, and the impact of the digital footprint.
