Last year, the Foundation benefited a total of 1,517 young people (almost 15% more than in 2023) from 30 organizations in the 12 countries where it operates. It did so through various initiatives involving 367 professionals from the firm who dedicated time during their working hours and personal time to carry out these activities. We report on this in the ‘2024 Annual Report: A Transformative Legacy’.

Among the initiatives, the global Voces Futuras (Future Voices) project stands out, which helps to shape the voices of the future by providing young people at risk of exclusion with soft skills and communication tools. In its fifth edition, 1,002 young people have been trained.

In addition, the IE-Fundación José Antonio Llorente Scholarships have been launched to give talented young people the opportunity to study at one of Spain’s most prestigious universities and strengthen their creative skills. The scholarship covers 100% of the tuition fees and is offered to two candidates per year, who will be able to undertake professional internships at LLYC upon completion of their studies.

Likewise, the José Antonio Llorente Foundation has supported social entities in their communication efforts through the Storytelling For Social Impact project. Students in the Master’s Degree in Creative Direction, Content and Branding developed awareness campaigns to amplify the reach and visibility of the organizations and their messages.

“At the José Antonio Llorente Foundation, we are committed to young people and their capacity for innovation. In honor of our founder’s vision, we connect young people from Europe, the United States, and Latin America who seek to generate a positive social impact, especially in the use of technology. They must lead the change to build a more humane world,” says its president, Irene Rodríguez.

For Albert Medrán, Director of the José Antonio Llorente Foundation: “In 2024, we have developed projects focused on young people as protagonists. We have equipped them with tools so that, through their potential and the correct use of technology, they are prepared to lead transformative change in society. We seek to promote initiatives that foster a healthy digital culture among young people, raising awareness of the importance of responsible use.”
