Voces Futuras trains more than 1,000 young people in digital and communication skills in its 6th edition

GOAL

Train vulnerable young people in digital and communication skills so that technology becomes a bridge to employment and their development.

SOLUTION

The José Antonio Llorente Foundation’s global project has benefited 1,030 young people in 12 countries. This edition has been marked by the introduction of digital skills training, addressing topics such as AI, data analysis, and online security.

This evolution of the program has been motivated by the needs of the current context, dominated by the emergence of technology. Given this situation, digital literacy is essential, especially in vulnerable contexts. In this way, we ensure that technology becomes a bridge to employment and development.

To achieve these objectives, the participation of 126 LLYC professionals has been crucial. They have volunteered for the project, contributing their knowledge and experience from a wide variety of backgrounds, ranging from expertise in data analysis to deep learning professionals and psychologists in the field of talent.

In this edition, we have worked together with different social entities, which have contributed to the comprehensive execution of the sessions: Fundación Iter, Fundació Mariano (Spain), Girl Up (Argentina), Instituto C (Brazil), Fundación Cerro Navia Joven (Chile), Fundación SIIGO (Colombia), Fundación Nuestros Jóvenes (Ecuador), Lotus House Women’s Shelter, Life Remodeled (USA), Christel House (Mexico), Instituto Técnico Superior ITSbyTAC, Colegio Primario Bilingüe Santa Librada, Junta Comunal Omar Torrijos (Panama), Kantaya (Peru), Escola Secundária Daniel Sampaio (Portugal), and Fundación Abriendo Camino (Dominican Republic).

I have learned how to improve my resume with the help of AI. I didn’t know it could be useful for this kind of thing. Now I see it as a great tool for my personal development.
