Raising awareness and impact of pediatric cancer research.
Objective
Developing a strategy to raise awareness about pediatric cancer research, with an emphasis on the roles of genetic and environmental factors.
Solution
Aquí Nadie Se Rinde approached Fundación LLYC in search of a partner to support its strategy to raise awareness about research on genetic and environmental factors associated with pediatric cancer. The aim was to communicate the genetic and environmental factors linked to cancer development at an early age, enabling the creation of a DNA biobank for families with pediatric cancer patients.
Impact
Thanks to this project and its 7 volunteers, we reached 1,000 families with children affected by pediatric cancer.
When a family member gets sick, everyone gets sick. Nadie se Rinde, or No One Gives Up, is a foundation that understands this. Because of that, it looks beyond cancer: it sees children with potential and the will to move forward, it sees united families, and it sees a community ready to help its own. ANSeR has inspired the volunteers of Fundación LLYC in Mexico to bring out the best in us and to keep hope alive.
