The José Antonio Llorente Foundation closed 2024 having positively impacted more than 500 young people with the support of 251 volunteers in 10 different countries. This was achieved through various social initiatives in collaboration with 11 associations, as part of the traditional end-of-year charity initiative, which this year focused on organizing activities that stimulate creativity and build confidence among young people at risk of social exclusion.
The participation of volunteers from LLYC has been fundamental in achieving this milestone. Once again, they have demonstrated that when talent and solidarity come together, no goal is unattainable. Together, we have shared unforgettable experiences and created connections that transcend global boundaries:
Buenos Aires
The entire Argentina office joined the initiative in partnership with Amigos en la Calle, which helps homeless families, to give them gifts and accompany them to a New Year’s Eve dinner.
Madrid
27 young people from the Capacis Foundation enjoyed a visit to the Reina Sofía Museum, accompanied by volunteers from the foundation, with the aim of providing them with an educational, entertaining day away from screens.
Portugal
In collaboration with Projeto Retrocas, a visit to the Avincis heliport was organized, where volunteers from the Lisbon office accompanied 13 young people to learn how helicopters are maintained.
Lima
A morning was dedicated to crafts, during which 23 participants from Kantaya learned to create their own designs for caps and tote bags with fabric paint, exploring their creativity and developing practical skills.
Mexico
In partnership with Banco de Tapitas, a traditional posada was organized for patients and their families, where 15 volunteers delivered toys and other gifts to young people with cancer through games and integration activities.
Santo Domingo
Our volunteers in the Dominican Republic organized a gathering with 70 young people from the Abriendo Camino Foundation, under the theme “Afternoon of Stars.” The young people dressed up as their favorite actors and the best costume was awarded a prize.
Bogotá
The team in Colombia built bicycles so that 12 children living in rural areas could get to school more quickly and safely.
Panama
Through the “Adopt a Meal” program, volunteers in Panama prepared lunch for 38 young people staying at Ronald McDonald House while undergoing treatment for illness.
Quito

Thank you to the super volunteers from each of the operations for leading the initiative and to all the volunteers for participating and getting involved to share their time and knowledge with young people.
